catching up

So. I rented a lens over the weekend.

The highly-coveted Canon 24-70mm f2.8L. That is one sweet lens! And heavy! I put my 50mm fixed lens back on and practically threw the camera overcompensating for the weight change! [Okay not really, but you know what I'm getting at.]

It was fun to play with, I used it on Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening to shoot a friend's event, Monday for Memorial Day and today for a new baby shoot.

Then it was time to take it back...

bummer.

"Someday it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine!"

In the meantime, here are some pictures from Saturday's play date. It was an invasion of the blondes! My one friend, whom I've known since the 6th grade, has triplets, my other friend has a daughter with a little boy on the way...like THIS WEEK!

In the mean time I'll just have to settle with trying out the gorillapod that I WON from MCP [weeks ago] which finally arrived in the mail today! Whoopee!
