I'm not sure why I didn't latch on to my painting abilities and the enjoyment I get from it more than I did. After all, I breezed through all my scene painting classes in college with A's and painted murals for friends but I didn't really stop to focus on it or what I could do with it. I still enjoy it though, when I get a chance to paint - uninterrupted.
Art is in the blood though. My grandmother had it, my mother had it, I have it, my son has it.
The desire to create.
We always make time for that.

Baby Shower!
I went to my friend's baby shower last week and took some pictures. We had a blast, we created onsies and played a fun game of Trivial Pursuit - Baby Style that the host created herself! We also grazed on fresh berries and veggies and indulged in yummy gormet cupcakes. What a blessing to celebrate in anticipation of a little new person.
Have mentioned how much I LOVE Red Velvet cake?
It tasted as good as it looks!
But did you ever notice that photographed veggies, just doesn't have the same appeal as berries?

And I get to go back and photograph the new baby! Wee!!

Maternity Photographer | My First Maternity Session
I took maternity picture of a friends last week; she has ordered her prints and they'll be ready for the baby shower on Saturday. how fun it was! Here are a couple of my favorites and couple fun shots.
We had a lot of fun and tried some different things, I'm also going back for a newborn session in just a few weeks! Woot!
