We had a beautiful weekend and the tree in our backyard is bursting with lemons. It's a sign that the season has changed and it won't be long until lazy days of Summer arrive.
I'm looking forward to summer (if only in my head-based fantasy.) I need to slow down and get stuck at the beach for a few days as Harrison digs in the sand for hours.
In the mean time we made lemonade that took me to a happy spot. Working together joyfully with my child and drinking up the sweet results - it doesn't get better then that. I am loving our new adventures together.
Have a Happy Spring!

Wow, homemade lemonade from lemons in the backyard! Very cool! And yes it's about time the season changed. My peach tree in the backyard has blossoms on it. :)
Mmmmm, lemonade! What makes me think of summer? Barbecue!
I want a lemon tree!

oooh, i have a friend in CA who sends me lemons from her tree! there is just nothing so fresh and bright as a lemon right from the tree. what a yummy post!
Oh, that sounds absolutely lovely! I am so excited to do the same soon. :)
I'm so glad I found your site via WW. Between your photography and observations of life, this blog is a complete delight!
What makes me think of summer? Waking up early and hearing the birds begin to sing through the open window. Then walking the dog with our kids, smelling the grass as we toodle through the neighborhood.
Life is indeed good.
I came over a bit early for BSM but had to comment on these amazing pictures...I love this time of year. I can almost smell the lemons!!

What wonderfully summery shots. The blue rim on the jug and the yellow of the lemons is especially evocative. Enjoy the approaching seasons.
